Dr. Ryan Barnett

Dr. Ryan Barnett is a graduate of Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Ga. He received his Bachelor degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida. Originally from Key West, Florida, Dr. Ryan grew up loving the outdoors, animals and spending time with his family. Hiking, kayaking and running are some of his favorite things to do. Dr. Ryan loves to run in local races and during college ran track and cross country for the University of Florida.

Dr. Ryan stays up to date with current exercise and fitness research, which allows him to help others with sports injuries. Currently he is working in conjunction with The Key West High School athletic department to help facilitate the optimal health and performance of their athletes. During his studies in Chiropractic College, he did an internship in The Dominican Republic and Haiti providing missionary chiropractic care for the locals. This fueled his passion for serving others.

As a Life graduate, Dr. Ryan is versed in numerous techniques, Gonstead, Thompson, Toggle Recoil, Flexion-Distraction. Dr. Ryan’s desire is to serve humanity out of love and abundance. He aspires to teach the vital principles of life, health, healing and well-being. Dr. Ryan has always strived for health and wellness. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that his chiropractic practice is based on a vitalistic wellness model and a “gentle whole person approach” when taking care of his clients of all ages. By combining his hands and heart, Dr. Ryan believes health and wellness is a journey of progress and improvement.

Dr. Ryan understanding of Chiropractic has changed immensely as he has grown. As a child he was adjusted so that he could breathe better and have a stronger immune system. In High School Dr. Ryan was adjusted to heal faster, enhance his athletic performance, quicken his reflexes and improve his body’s balance. Now Dr. Ryan sees chiropractic as a way for your body to shine brightly. Life is light and the life force that creates, animates, and heals is transmitted to every cell, tissue and organ via the nerve system. Interference to the transmission of your life force dims your body’s ability to express life.

If you truly wish to excel and live fully, Chiropractic must be an essential part of your life. Dr. Ryan’s sole purpose as a chiropractor is to allow that inner light to shine brightly.

Carolina Horn, Chiropractic Assistant

I joined Key West Chiropractic in 2016 as Office Manager and have loved connecting with our practice members about chiropractic ever since. I was born and raised in Key West, FL. I love to cook healthy meals, travel, and spend time with my son Lucas and Golden-doodle Piper.

After receiving chiropractic care, I noticed a huge impact in my increased breathing capacity during running, neck tension relief from sitting down for long hours, and a stronger immune system. I love how a chiropractic adjustment brings an innate life force back into your body and helps your body heal naturally. I look forward to bringing out the best experience for our practice members and watch them gain a love for chiropractic as well.
